VSO Participates in Colorado Romp to Stomp

Vail-Summit Orthopaedics once again took part in this year's Romp to Stomp to raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The event was held on March 5, 2011 at the Frisco Nordic Center.

Event organizers say the 2011 Colorado Romp to Stomp was the most successful ever. "The ongoing sponsorship and support of Vail-Summit Orthopaedics was a major reason for this positive outcome," says 2011 Colorado Romp to Stomp Sponsor Hostess and Coordinator Sara Almond. "It is clear we cannot raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure without the support of our sponsors. Again, we appreciate your generosity."

More than $715,000 has been raised by Colorado Romp to Stomp since the event began in 2003.

Eileen Hendrickson: Great medical care in Summit County

I have worked as an RN for the past 30 years, in both large metropolitan and small community hospitals. Recently, my husband underwent an urgent surgery at St. Anthony's in Frisco. From his physician, Dr. Greg Poulter, the surgical team and Dr. Ross Dickstein, the floor nurses, physical therapist, pharmacist, respiratory therapist, the clerical staff in both the medical offices and in the hospital, he received the finest medical care. The hospital itself is comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. But what I am most impressed with is the professionalism and compassionate care we both experienced. This is more rare than you would think. The community is fortunate to have such an marvelous facility complemented by a top notch staff.
