Vail-Summit Orthopaedics Launches New Patient-Centric Website

Vail-Summit Orthopaedics has launched a new ‘patient-centric’ website (www.vsortho.com) that allows patients to pay their bills online, schedule appointments, and download patient forms which can be filled out prior to coming into the office. The new website was developed by Hill Aevium, a full-service marketing agency will offices in Edwards and Denver. Vsorth.com provides essential information about the doctors at VSO, the procedures they perform, and the more common conditions they treat. Another exciting feature includes personal stories of former patients who share their experiences with a given physician, surgery or procedure. “These stories really allow prospective patients to hear first-hand, from a patient’s perspective, what someone with a similar condition went through which will hopefully give him a better understanding of what to expect,” says Vail-Summit Orthopaedics CEO Chip Webb. Website browsers can also download printable guides on a number of different conditions giving them further insight into their injury or ailment.

In related news, Vail-Summit Orthopaedics underwent a remodel at their Edwards office to accommodate more exam rooms and administrative office space. 500 square feet of the 5,000 square foot existing office space was re-purposed to make space for more physicians including VSO’s new foot and ankle specialist Dr. John Paul Elton, who joined the practice in August 2010. Vail architect Larry Rogers headed the project and says “it’s encouraging to see a local business expanding their work space during the current economic environment.”
